15 Million Dollars Stolen from Chilean Airport

Criminals attacked an armored vehicle at Santiago's airport, stealing over 15 million dollars. This was reported on Monday, March 9, by the 24 Horas television channel.

“Seven to ten individuals entered the airport's secure area in two vehicles and stole cash from a company truck transporting valuable items,” the statement said.

In total, 14 million dollars and 1 million euros were stolen. This amounts to approximately 13 billion Chilean pesos. Two individuals handling the money were injured during the incident.
