Two Teenagers Missing in Sochi Sea; 200 People Involved in Search Operations
In Sochi, over 200 people, including local volunteers, are searching for two missing teenagers in the sea. This information was reported by RIA Novosti, citing the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations.
According to preliminary data, on Tuesday evening, February 25, two adolescents aged 13-15 attempted to cross the Pszeuaps River in the Lazarevsky district, but the current swept them out to sea.
Currently, more than 200 people are working on-site, including the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations, Sochi rescue services, police personnel, and local volunteers. Additionally, psychologists are also assisting at the scene.
It has been reported that search and rescue operations continued throughout the night along the coast, and in the morning, a motorboat was launched into the open sea, with a K-32 helicopter joining the search efforts from above, manned with three rescuers. The situation is under the special control of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations.
