All COVID-19 Patients in Vietnam Have Been Cured
All 16 individuals hospitalized with the novel coronavirus in Vietnam have been discharged from the hospital. This was reported by VNExpress, citing the country's health ministry.
According to the agency, no new cases of coronavirus have been detected in Vietnam since February 13. In other words, the disease is currently under control in the country.
One of the last two patients discharged is a 3-month-old girl who contracted the virus from her grandmother. The grandmother had been in contact with Chinese specialists who had come from Wuhan due to her work and became infected.
Interestingly, throughout the treatment, the baby was cared for by her mother, who wore a mask and did not breastfeed her. Upon completion of treatment, retesting was conducted, and it was found that the child was healthy, and the mother had not been infected.
