There are Hopes for a Further Decrease in Loan Interest Rates: Pashinyan
According to results from 2019, the manufacturing industry grew by 12%, for the first time since 2008, becoming the leading sector in the economy, accounting for 12.1% of GDP. This indicates that our country's production potential is being restored and developing. This was stated by the Prime Minister of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan, on his Facebook page.
The fastest growth in the economy was recorded in the accommodation and food services sector, which saw a 27.2% increase, a result of high growth in tourism. The second-highest growth was observed in financial and insurance services, with a rate of 22%, which brings hopes for a further decrease in loan interest rates.
