What I Would Like to Hear from Munich: Tevan Poghosyan

What I would like to hear from Munich in response to the question, 'What do you expect from the international community?' This was noted by Tevan Poghosyan, the President of the International Center for Human Development and Advisor to the President of Armenia, on his Facebook page.

He specifically stated: 'We invite the international community to be broadly represented and observe the nationwide elections of the Republic of Artsakh on March 31, to see with their own eyes the achievements of a democratic state established after 30 years of independence. To witness Artsakh's democracy and mentally compare it with the last or any elections of those who seek annexation. This is what we expect from the international community. The rest we will handle ourselves.'

Munich, Ischinger, the Minsk Group, Geneva, Madrid, Kazan, Key West... the resolutions to our questions will not be conditioned by foreign-sounding names, no matter how euphonious they may be. The solution to all questions lies with our soldiers who defend the Republic of Armenia and the Republic of Artsakh and the united people standing behind them. Our solutions are grounded in reality. We will stand firm and resolve. And this is how we must live, always.'
