Six Teens Arrested for Desecrating Christian Graves in Ankara
Six teenagers have been apprehended for desecrating Christian graves in the Ortaköy cemetery located in the Mamak district of Ankara. According to a report by sozcu.com.tr, referring to the Ankara governor's office, the vandals damaged around 20 gravestones and broke tombstones in the cemetery.
The suspects were caught by security personnel at the cemetery. Following their interrogation at the police station, they were released. The governor's office stated that the six teenagers, aged between 15 and 16, were arrested on February 7 on suspicion of vandalism against Christian graves, and the case has been forwarded to the prosecutor's office.
