‘Artsakh is not in anyone's pocket to take, concede, give, or exchange’. Tigran Poghosyan

The advisor to the President of Armenia, former MP Tigran Poghosyan, wrote on his Facebook page:

“Once again, a few observations on the recent discussions regarding the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict:

1. Artsakh is not in anyone's pocket to take or concede anything. If any action happens, it will only be through war, and the blame lies solely with us for not being able to fight well and win again. The people of Artsakh are the rightful owners of their land. This means that ARMENIANS are the owners, and I am confident that all Armenians will continue to be the rightful owners.”
2. Various presidents, prime ministers, foreign ministers, ambassadors, and mediators from different countries will come and go. They will make various proposals always based on their countries' interests. Our goal is to remain and not leave. That is our interest, and we should focus on realizing that. The proposals from Lavrovs, Işınšnjers, or others should not affect us. They seek their own interests; we must advance ours.
3. “Never negotiate out of fear, but never fear to negotiate.” These words of Kennedy truly resonate with us. As long as we hold our lands, we will negotiate fearlessly; after conceding, we will negotiate out of fear.
4. Our war has not ended on the front lines or on international platforms, and it is no longer important who targets us for what reason; what matters is that we must be prepared to defeat today's enemies. Therefore, let’s live and work by advancing our interests.
