Witness Statements Against Me Have Been Extracted: Davit Sanasaryan
“I don’t know where Arsen Torosyan is coming up with such things. This did not happen. I told Arsen Torosyan that I invited my employee, and the employee, S. Adyan, said that he has nothing to do with this organization. What they did to pressure A. Torosyan or what happened to change the reality, I do not know,” said D. Sanasaryan, addressing the claim made by Health Minister A. Torosyan that he was aware of the actions of the employees of the Special Investigative Service after the court session on February 14.
When asked if he does not consider it possible that his employees deceived him, D. Sanasaryan stated that if they did deceive him, he condemns that, but at that moment he did not want to violate the presumption of innocence. He insisted, “There are witness statements extracted against me. There are 2 alleged pieces of evidence; those are 2 statements. There is no other evidence presented by the prosecutor's office and investigative bodies; they do not have another evidential base,” noted D. Sanasaryan. He reiterated his previous statement that he had informed the Prime Minister about A. Vanetsyan’s actions.
When asked what he thinks about A. Vanetsyan's initiative to establish a party, D. Sanasaryan said, “I have nothing to say about the members of Kadyrov’s fan club.”
