US Armed Forces Open Fire in Syria, Civilian Casualties Include Child
US armed forces opened fire in the village of Hirbat Ammu, located near the northeastern Syrian city of Qamishli, resulting in the deaths of two civilians, including one child, as reported by a source from the RIA Novosti agency.
The source also added that another adult was injured due to the gunfire. There is one injured individual on the American side as well.
“At around 10 AM, an American patrol intentionally entered an area under the control of Syrian authorities using a Hummer vehicle. The vehicles moved through the Alai region towards Hirbat Ammu, where a national defense checkpoint is located. Local residents did not allow the patrol vehicles to enter the village and began to stone them. As a result, the American soldiers opened fire at the residents,” the RIA Novosti source stated.
