Palestine Committed to Striving for Peace with Israel, Says Abbas

Peace between Palestinians and Israelis is possible, and Palestine is committed to the goal of achieving peace. This statement was made by Palestinian leader Mahmoud Abbas during a meeting of the UN Security Council.

“I have come today to tell you that peace between Palestinians and Israelis is still possible, and it can be achieved. I have come to seek international partnership to attain a sustainable and comprehensive peace. And we continue to remain committed to this peace as a strategic choice,” Abbas stated.
