Several Roads in Syunik Province Closed

The Ministry of Emergency Situations reports that as of February 11 at 11:00 PM, there are closed and difficult-to-navigate roads in the territory of Armenia.

Roads closed include the Ishkhanasar-Goris road in Syunik Province, and the roads to Amberd Fortress and Karij Lake in Aragatsotn Province. The Vardenyats Pass is closed for trucks with trailers, while it is difficult-to-navigate for other vehicles.

There is a snowstorm on the Goris-Sisian road. The road from Goris to Harzhis is closed for all types of vehicles. The Sotk-Karvachar road is difficult to navigate.

There are patches of black ice on the roads in Kotayk, Gegharkunik, Lori, Syunik, and Shirak provinces, as well as on intercommunity roads in Aparan and Aragats in Aragatsotn Province.

Regarding Lars, according to information received from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia and the crisis management center of the Ministry of Emergencies of the Russian Federation in North Ossetia, the Stepanstminda-Lars road is open for all types of vehicles.

According to the information from the crisis management center of the Russian Federation in North Ossetia, there are over 1,000 trucks piled up on the Russian side.
