Experts Begin Meetings with Individuals Engaged in Slaughterhouse Operations

Specialists from the Regional Centers of the Food Safety Inspection Body of Armenia have started meetings and awareness-raising activities with individuals engaged in or interested in slaughterhouse operations, large-scale farm owners, veterinarians, and administrative officials from large communities.

During the meetings, guidelines on the necessary steps to start slaughterhouse operations are presented, alongside conditions of state support programs for constructing slaughterhouses and the requirements for these facilities.

The discussions also cover the advantages of slaughterhouse meat and the procedure for providing veterinary accompanying documents that certify meat and meat product safety.

The awareness-raising activities are ongoing.
