30 Graduates of Orphanages Receive Housing Purchase Certificates
Today, 30 graduates from orphanages received housing purchase certificates from the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs of Armenia. This information was reported by the Ministry.
“This event is very emotional for us as well. I congratulate all of you and hope that this opportunity will change the quality of your lives, providing comfortable conditions for creating family happiness. The ministry also places great importance on acquiring housing in the regions, and at the same time, you can be prioritized to participate in state employment programs, undergo retraining, and engage in entrepreneurship,” stated Gevorg Gasparyan, First Deputy Minister, during the ceremony.
Following this, the graduates of the orphanages were briefed on several technical issues related to the purchase of housing, the conditions for inclusion in employment programs, which can help them secure stable jobs and income.
It is noteworthy that the process of granting housing purchase certificates to graduates of orphanages started in December 2019, following a relevant government decision. The decision pertains to 300 graduates from orphanages. For this purpose, the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs has allocated 1.9 billion AMD from its savings.
Housing purchase certificates are provided for the acquisition of apartments not exceeding 6.3 million AMD within the territory of the Republic of Armenia. In case of investing personal funds, beneficiaries of the program are entitled to purchase apartments exceeding the value of 6.3 million AMD.
