Over 200 Works by Dalí and Picasso to be Brought to Armenia

Renowned 20th-century Spanish artists Salvador Dalí and Pablo Picasso will have their exceptional works brought to Armenia by the "Art of the Nations" foundation. The exhibition showcasing these surrealist masters will open at the National Gallery of Armenia.

In an interview with "Armenpress," the director of the "Art of the Nations" foundation, Yaroslav Shadrin, stated that the sculptures, ceramic, and graphic works of Dalí and Picasso will be displayed at the National Gallery of Armenia. "We already have an agreement with the gallery, and we will officially announce the details of the exhibition in the coming days," emphasized Shadrin.

According to him, the exhibition will feature over 200 works by the two great artists. "It will be open to visitors for several months," the foundation's director highlighted.

Shadrin noted that Dalí is complex, kind, delicate, and filled with doubts. "The character of Picasso feels more familiar to me. We had several of his works at home. It was as if another man filled the house—energetic and strong. I couldn't tolerate them and took those artworks off the wall," confessed the foundation's director.

The collection of the "Art of the Nations" foundation is considered the fourth largest in the world.
