Karapet Chalyan Reaches Semifinals, Set to Compete Against Azerbaijani Wrestler

In the ongoing Greco-Roman wrestling European Championship taking place in the capital of Italy, Karapet Chalyan continues to perform successfully. The 77 kg weight class wrestler from Gyumri first defeated Switzerland's Nicolas Peter Christen with a score of 11-2. Then, in the round of 16, he won against Serbian Viktor Nemes with a score of 3-1, advancing to the quarter-finals, where he triumphed over Belarusian Pavel Lyakh with a score of 5-2.

Thus, Chalyan has moved on to the semifinals, where he will compete against Azerbaijani wrestler Sanan Suleymanov.
