A Previously Unknown Virus Discovered in Brazil
A new virus has been discovered in Brazil, the origins and over 90% of its DNA genes are unknown to scientists. This information was published on the bioRxiv website.
The virus was identified in the Pampulha artificial lake located in Belo Horizonte, Brazil. The virus, still unfamiliar to scientists, has been named Yaravirus brasiliensis. Researchers are currently investigating the virus's origins.
