1421 Out of 1866 Students Absent from School: City Council Member Sounds Alarm

City Council member Ani Khachatryan wrote on her Facebook page: "At Nikole Aghbalyan Secondary School, 727 out of 1378 students are absent. At Alexander Pushkin School No. 8, 1421 out of 1866 students are absent."

It is worth mentioning that days ago, Auroranews reported that more than 10 cases of H1N1 flu had been recorded in one of Yerevan's schools.

Health Minister Arsen Torosyan also noted, "Another absurd panic is sweeping the nation: swine flu, bird flu, dinosaur flu."
