Putin Reveals Details of Meeting with Lukashenko
Russian President Vladimir Putin and Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko continue their negotiations in an expanded format, despite the absence of some members of the Russian delegation. The face-to-face talks lasted only one or one and a half hours.
“Unfortunately, our delegation could not reach our meeting place. I hope the weather conditions will allow them to arrive, albeit with a slight delay. We can still start our negotiations, discuss current issues, and also delve a little into the more pressing matters,” Putin said.
He noted that they discussed several topics of mutual interest, and thus, the negotiations can continue in an expanded format, and then they can wait for their partners before moving to the next phase.
