VIDEO: 2081 Lyric Tablets Discovered in Pharmacy Raid; 5 Arrested

The Main Department of Criminal Police received operational information that a 42-year-old resident of Yerevan was illegally acquiring Lyric tablets from a pharmacy in Nor Nork. The received information was acted upon in cooperation with the staff of the Nor Nork Police Department. As a result, the man was found on Vilnius Street and was taken to the Nor Nork police station.

A personal search revealed Lyric tablets in his possession. A criminal case was initiated, and during the proceedings, the 35-year-old pharmacy director presented 10 Lyric tablets to the police, while her 71-year-old mother-in-law provided 30 tablets. They were detained and arrested. Their apartment located in Nor Nork was searched, leading to the discovery of 2081 Lyric tablets. Operational-investigative measures and investigative actions are ongoing.

It was established that the aforementioned tablets were acquired from two men aged 61 and 38, both residents of Yerevan. They were also found, detained, and arrested. Expert examinations have been appointed. The pre-investigation of the opened criminal case is ongoing.
