«Fact». Ararat Mirzoyan Urged Constitutional Court Judge Felix Tokhyan to Write a Resignation Letter
«Fact» newspaper reports: The pressures on the Constitutional Court judges are systematically continuing. According to sources from «Fact», representatives of the government have been instructed to find intermediaries to meet with the Constitutional Court judges and have "explanatory conversations".
Particularly, our sources claim that such a meeting took place at the end of last week between the Speaker of the National Assembly, Ararat Mirzoyan, and Constitutional Court Judge Felix Tokhyan.
According to our sources, Mirzoyan has "amicably" urged Judge Tokhyan to write a resignation letter and to take advantage of the early retirement law, promising to secure well-paid positions for Tokhyan's sons.
Additionally, it has been reported that Felix Tokhyan's relative, Marat Tokhyan, is a member of the municipal council from the "My Step" faction, and he has acted as the intermediary for the Mirzoyan-Tokhyan meeting.
We attempted to verify this information with the National Assembly and contacted the assistant of the Speaker, Vahan Kostanyan. He only stated, "I have no information about such a meeting." For more details, check today’s issue of the newspaper.
