Mkhitaryan Invites Winners of Armenian Cultural Competition in Russia to Rome
The national football team's midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan has invited the winners of the "ARMONIA" musical competition held in Russia to Rome. This was reported by the event organizers who shared a video message in which Mkhitaryan addresses the winners.
According to a press release sent by the organizers, Mkhitaryan spoke to motivate the participants: "Hello everyone. I know many of you dream of being in Rome and attending a match of AS Roma. I am looking forward to seeing all of you. We will meet soon," he said.
The annual event, held for the second time, took place on January 30th in Moscow. The organizer is the Armenian Assembly NGO, which aims to support and implement socio-entrepreneurial projects in culture, education, tourism, and information technology in Armenia and the diaspora.
This year’s winners include:
- Ekaterina Naidyonova - flute, Russia, 1st age category
- Sergey Mkrtchyan - violin, flute, Russia, 2nd age category
- Artyom Ioannisyan - cello, Armenia, 3rd age category
- Aida Avanesyan - piano, winner of the "Audience's Favorite" award, a virtuoso pianist known from the Russian TV show "Better Than All" on Channel One
- Maria Mishel Yaumzet - special award from Classical Young Stars Vienna
The jury included renowned figures such as Jivan Gasparyan, Stas Namin, Konstantin Orbelyan, Sergey Smbatyan, and others.
