No Coronavirus Found in Girl Returned from China

A 22-year-old Georgian girl who returned from China to Kakheti on January 16 and presented with viral symptoms at a medical facility on January 26 has tested negative for coronavirus. This was announced by Paata Imnadze, head of the Scientific Council of the National Center for Disease Control and Public Health of Georgia. This information was reported by Alik Media.

According to Imnadze's statement, after undergoing all necessary tests, the girl was confirmed not to have the virus. Earlier, Imnadze had stated that at the time of the girl's return, coronavirus cases were only recorded in Wuhan. He added that, at this moment, the health issue the girl is experiencing has not been confirmed as coronavirus.
