Houthi Forces Report Attack on Saudi Arabia's Oil Facility
There is an oil refinery in the Jizan region of Saudi Arabia with a production capacity of 400,000 barrels per day. The Houthi rebels, who dominate northern Yemen under the banner of the Ansar Allah movement, have announced an attack on Saudi Aramco's oil company in the Jizan administrative region of Saudi Arabia. This was reported by Bloomberg.
The report states that the attack involved drones and missiles. Houthi spokesman Yahya Saree also stated that the airports in Jizan and Abha cities were also targeted. According to him, this was a response to one of the attacks by the Saudi military against Houthi positions.
Saudi Aramco has not commented on the situation, but a Saudi official working in the oil sector informed the agency that the Houthi missiles did not reach their target.
