Are the Amulsar Mine Area of Archaeological Significance?
The newspaper «Hraparak» reports: The parliamentary inquiry committee on the Amulsar or metal mines will host archaeologists in the upcoming week who aim to present evidence that the Amulsar mine area is of archaeological significance and that its exploitation is inadmissible by numerous international standards.
Committee chair Sergey Bagratyan confirmed in a conversation with our reporter that discussions with the archaeologists will indeed take place in the committee, although the specific date is yet to be determined.
