The Armed Individual Who Fired Shots at ‘Erebuni Plaza’ Has Been Taken to Police Station in Chief of Police's Service Vehicle

At 14:40, the police received a call reporting that there was an armed individual firing shots at the ‘Erebuni Plaza’ hotel. Police leadership and operational groups quickly arrived at the scene.

The police leadership, led by Acting Chief of Police Arman Sargsyan, negotiated with the armed man, who then surrendered his weapon.

The man was transported to the police station in the service vehicle of the Acting Chief of Police. There were no injuries reported among civilians. All circumstances of the incident are under investigation.
