Armed Intruder at Erebuni Plaza Hotel Surrenders Weapon to Police

Negotiations are ongoing with the armed individual who entered the Erebuni Plaza hotel. This was reported by the Armenian Police a few moments ago, noting that additional information will be provided later.

Speaking to reporters at the scene, Ashot Aharonyan, head of the Public Relations and Information Department of the Armenian Police, stated that as a result of negotiations, the armed person has surrendered his weapon.

It is worth mentioning that the armed individual had fired shots. The police have not yet confirmed whether there are any hostages involved.
