Soldier Dies After Falling into a Ravine, Investigative Committee Reports

The Investigative Committee of Armenia has provided information regarding the circumstances surrounding the death of a contract soldier.

“On January 21, 2020, at approximately 13:15, a contract soldier, Arthur Martuni Nalbandyan, serving as an observer at the combat position of military unit N, died from injuries sustained in a fall into a ravine, which was determined to be an unfortunate accident. Materials are being prepared at the third garrison investigatory division regarding the incident,” the Investigative Committee reported.
