Shooting in Artashat: A civilian with gunshot wounds has been hospitalized

On January 22, a shooting was reported in the Ararat province. At approximately 4:00 PM, the Artashat police department received a call that a civilian with gunshot wounds had been taken to the hospital.

According to shamshyan.com, an operational group from the Ararat provincial police department was dispatched to the hospital. The doctors informed the police that the victim was currently unable to provide explanations regarding the incident.

While the doctors are fighting for the victim's life, police in the Ararat province have determined that the individual was transported to the hospital from the intersection of Grigor Zohrap and Acharyan streets in Artashat city.

Currently, officers from the Ararat provincial police and the Artashat police department's criminal investigation and community policing units are working at the scene. A bullet cartridge fired from a handgun has been discovered at the scene, and in a metal container used as a barrel at the beginning of the intersection, two knives and a baton have been found.

An investigation is underway regarding the incident. The police and the investigative department are working to establish the identity of the victim.
