PHOTOS. What Conditions Are Animals Slaughtered Outside the Abattoir
The Food Safety Inspection Body has released photographs showing the conditions under which animals are slaughtered if not in an abattoir. "A mandatory condition for transitioning to abattoir slaughter also addresses sanitation and hygiene issues. The Food Safety Inspection Body will use all its tools to eliminate the situations depicted in the photographs," the statement reads.
