24 Tons of Wheat-Filled Truck Overturns in Accident

On January 20, an accident occurred in the Aragatsotn region. Around 19:20, a КамАЗ truck with license plate E 324 OM 15 RUS experienced an overturn while its trailer was loaded with wheat on the 28th kilometer of the Yerevan-Vanadzor highway, heading towards Yerevan, under still unknown circumstances.

According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan reporting from the scene, preliminary information suggests that there were no casualties resulting from the accident.

The КамАЗ truck and its trailer were loaded with a total of 24 tons of wheat. The driver, who is a citizen of the Russian Federation, informed bystanders that the КамАЗ was carrying 16 tons of wheat while the overturned trailer held 8 tons. Some of the wheat has spilled onto the road.
