Istanbul Mayor Visits Hrant Dink Museum

Istanbul Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu visited the Hrant Dink Museum on January 2, located in the same area where the Armenian newspaper "Agos" was previously situated. Dink was the editor of the newspaper.

"May the soul of Hrant Dink be illuminated, as he always carried peace in his heart," wrote the Istanbul mayor in a tweet about his visit.

It is noteworthy that İmamoğlu is not part of Turkey's ruling establishment. He was an opposition candidate in the Istanbul mayoral elections and, despite efforts from Erdoğan, managed to become the city's leader.
