LIVE: The Government Meeting Has Begun, 19 Issues on the Agenda

The Prime Minister of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan, is chairing the first cabinet meeting of this year today, January 9. The agenda of the meeting includes 19 issues, of which 16 are non-reportable and one is confidential.

The issues on the government meeting agenda include, among others, the following:

• A draft law on ratifying the optional protocol to the international covenant on economic, social, and cultural rights.
• A draft law on ratifying the Beijing Treaty on Audiovisual Performances.
• A draft law on ratifying the European Agreement concerning the International Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Road (ADR).
• On the sale of apartments in the multi-apartment building located at 69 Vardanants street in Yerevan, belonging to 'Gnun 69' LLC, at a price lower than the market value.
• A draft law on ratifying the agreement on mechanisms for the traceability of goods imported into the customs territory of the Eurasian Economic Union.
