Abkhazia Parliament Speaker Valery Kvarchia Hospitalized due to Heart Distress

Abkhazia Parliament Speaker Valery Kvarchia has been hospitalized due to heart distress following a session called to address the current situation in the country. This was reported to TASS by a representative of the parliamentary staff.

“The speaker is experiencing heart distress; he was transported to the hospital by an ambulance,” the representative stated.

It is noteworthy that protests have taken place today in the capital of Abkhazia. Demonstrators have seized the presidential administration building, breaking windows and damaging property.
