Masked Intruders Rob Elderly Couple's Home

On December 26, a robbery occurred in the village of Bardzrakashen in the Ararat province. Two masked individuals entered the home of an elderly couple, sealing the homeowner's mouth with adhesive tape and threatening them with a knife before fleeing with money. This information was reported by the Police.

Criminal investigators from the Artashat division of the police, in collaboration with regional and Masis division officers, undertook extensive operational measures. Working day and night, the police uncovered the case on December 29, leading to the identification of the suspects.

A 32-year-old suspect from the village of Mrgavet and an 18-year-old suspect from the village of Mkhchyan were apprehended. Operational-investigative measures revealed that they had arrived in Bardzrakashen village in a taxi branded as “VAZ 2107” to carry out the robbery.

They were presented to the investigating authorities and arrested. The knife, masks, and gloves used in the crime were found and seized. The investigation of the criminal case is ongoing.
