VIDEO: Tragic Accident on Davit Bek Street, Citizen Dies

Today, on December 24, a major and tragic car accident occurred in Yerevan. Around 16:40, vehicles with license plates 956 AR 61 (MAN) and 34 MS 015 (Renault Logan) collided on Davit Bek Street.

As a result of the crash, the Logan, which was refueling with liquid gas at the time, was turned into a heap of metal, while the MAN truck overturned. One person died at the scene, and three others were transported to 'Saint Grigor Lusavorich' and 'Erebuni' medical centers.

Emergency teams from the Ministry of Emergency Situations arrived at the scene. Police and the investigative department are identifying the drivers, injured parties, and the deceased.

Witnesses at the scene reported that before the truck collided with the taxi Logan, the MAN reversed into another vehicle, a Mercedes, and that the driver of the MAN was not inside the vehicle, which moved backward automatically.
