Video: Cases of Residential Burglary Uncovered

The RA Police News Service reports that on December 10, around 5 PM, a resident of Nar-Dosi Street in Vanadzor reported to the Bazum Police Division that from December 9 to 10, they had forced open the door of their private house using technical means and stolen household items.

The police arrived at the scene, examined the area of the house, and prepared the relevant protocols. A criminal case has been initiated regarding the theft. Extensive investigative measures have been undertaken.

As a result of operational inquiries, information was soon received that the burglary may have been committed by a 38-year-old resident of Amiryan Street in Vanadzor. On December 19, the suspect was detained on Nersisyan Street by the Bazum Police Division. Part of the stolen property has been recovered.

Further measures revealed that the 38-year-old man had committed eight other residential burglaries and attempted burglaries in Vanadzor in 2019. The circumstances are being investigated. The preliminary investigation of the criminal case is ongoing.
