Video: Signatures of Councilors Forged in Metsadzor

The Talin division of police has received information regarding operations that took place in the Metsadzor community of Aragatsotn Province. Specifically, the community leader has misused his official position and committed forgeries.

Based on materials prepared by the department, factual data have been obtained indicating that certain officials of the Metsadzor community council forged documents between August and September of this year. These documents were used to lease out several plots of agricultural land, which are community property, to a citizen.

It has been revealed that the Metsadzor community council has not convened any meetings, and the signatures on the documents concerning the lease of the mentioned plots have been forged. Based on the materials prepared, a criminal case has been initiated in the Talin police department on the grounds of official forgery. The criminal case has been forwarded to the investigative body.
