VIDEO: Elderly Taxi Driver's Attacker Detained

The police have released a video showing the detention of the driver of a Mercedes G-Class (Gelandewagen) who assaulted an elderly taxi driver on Proshyan Street yesterday.

The footage shared on Facebook shows how the Mercedes driver strikes the taxi with his vehicle, then gets out and begins to physically assault the taxi driver.

The Gelandewagen's license plates are 010 DO 10, and it is registered under the company ‘Edem-Haus’ located in the village of Verin Ptghni in the Kotayk region.

In connection with this incident, MP Hayk Sargsyan from the ‘My Step’ faction of the National Assembly wrote on his Facebook page: “The G-Class driver has been subjected to asphalt operations. No one should remain unpunished. Thanks to the police!”
