UAE Ambassador Hosts Year-End Reception for Media Representatives

The UAE Ambassador to Armenia, N.G. Muhammad Issa Al Kattam Al Zaabi, hosted a year-end reception for media representatives. He expressed gratitude to the attendees for accepting the invitation and extended a congratulatory message to the people of Armenia on behalf of the Emirati government.

"This has been a year of security, respect, and love, and we convey this message to all countries around the world. The year 2019 was declared the Year of Tolerance in our country, an initiative that was launched by UAE President Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan," noted Al Zaabi.

He thanked all journalists for their efforts in adequately covering events. The ambassador emphasized that collaboration with the media has also contributed to achieving significant results. Muhammad Al Zaabi expressed his desire to continue this cooperation in the future.

"During my 9 months in Armenia, I have always felt secure and have received constant support from the government. The cooperation between Armenia and the UAE in the economic sector is quite good, with 5 Emirati companies operating here," the ambassador emphasized, adding that one of the evidence of the strong relations between the two countries is the 12 weekly flights to Sharjah and Dubai.

Muhammad Al Zaabi mentioned that during his tenure in Armenia, several agreements have been signed between the countries.
