Attention Drivers: All Intercommunity Roads in Gegharkunik Are Difficult to Traverse, Goraik-Zanger Section Impassable

The Ministry of Emergency Situations informs that as of December 27, at 23:00, there are impassable roads in the territory of the Republic of Armenia.

The Vardenyats Pass is closed for freight vehicles and difficult to traverse for passenger cars. All intercommunity roads in Gegharkunik Province are impassable. There is ice in places along the Goraik-Zanger road on the Vardenyats Pass.

Snow is present in the following locations: in the town of Aparan in Aragatsotn Province, in Aragats village, in the town of Jermuk in Vayots Dzor Province, in Gegharkunik Province, in the town of Abovyan in Kotayk Province, along the Saravan-Zanger road, on the Vardenyats Pass, and in the Dilijan serpentine roads.

Regarding Lars: According to information received from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia's Emergency Situations Department and the Russian Federation's Emergency Situations Ministry in North Ossetia, the Stepantsminda-Lars road is closed for freight vehicles.
