Time: Corruption in the State Revenue Committee is Immortal
Time newspaper writes: Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan's claims that there is no systemic corruption in Armenia dissipate when studying the procurement activities of the SRC. Systemic corruption within the SRC is immortal.
In particular, we discovered that the SRC has procured services worth 4 million drams from Vladimir Sardarov, the son of the SRC's procurement department head, Mihran Sardarov. Mihran Sardarov is one of the veterans of the tax service, having previously been arrested for providing counterfeit excises. At that time, he was saved from long-term detention by a bribe of $25,000, which was collected by the heads of various inspection agencies.
It is also noteworthy that Mihran Sardarov's individual entrepreneur son, Vladimir, is also registered as an employee in the administrative-economic department of the SRC. As the saying goes, corruption doesn’t happen without its a mouth and tail.
