The former Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly and former Minister of Justice, Arpine Hovhannisyan, wrote on her Facebook page:

It is more convenient to work as the head of the presidential office next to the Prime Minister. It is more convenient to present New Year’s gifts to Nikol and the authorities as Santa Claus. It is more convenient to talk about having a dream country while giving speeches here and there, and who knows what else. In other words, just to talk. To engage in meaningless philosophy. To speak at length.

It’s more convenient to fondly remember British political figures and their politics with a blissful smile, but never adopt an important principle—having a profile. Today is a celebration for the person occupying the presidential office, considering how many people remembered his ‘nonexistent’ powers. I am writing this to say one thing—I regret to see that amidst so much, a profile and principle were never found. You deserve whatever powers you possess, that is, whatever you think you do not possess.

I believe that when Nikol decides to transform the country into a presidential one, Armen Sargsyan will quickly go into early retirement—more accurately, he will be sent into early retirement. That will be justly awaited and, of course, agreed with Armen Sargsyan. After all, a millionaire by nature doesn’t undertake meaningless business trips at the expense of the budget for nothing.
