The Issue of Border Adjustments with Armenia Must Be Resolved, Says Salome Zurabishvili
The President of Georgia, Salome Zurabishvili, has stated that her country must resolve the border issues with Armenia and Azerbaijan and clarify the borders to function as a state. This was reported by Rusarminfo.
Zurabishvili recalled the border sections where there is no agreement with Armenia and Azerbaijan, noting that the delimitation process has been stalled. “It is unclear why we should not finalize this process with our friendly countries. Our commissions should start working in this direction,” said the President of Georgia.
Zurabishvili added that the result of this process will be an agreed border, which is a necessary step for Georgia.
