Pope Calls for Peace and Prays for Compassion
Christians around the world are celebrating Christmas. It is now also a public holiday in several Muslim countries. Catholic, Protestant, and some Orthodox churches celebrate Christmas on December 25.
This morning, the Pope prayed for the softening of hardened and selfish hearts and called for peace, particularly highlighting Ukraine, Syria, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, and Yemen.
