Internal Investigation Launched Regarding the Detention of David Apoyan

By the decision of Acting Police Chief Arman Sargsyan, an internal investigation is being conducted within the police to verify the legality of the actions of police officers in relation to the detention of David Apoyan, the head of the Yerevan State University Student Council. This was stated by Zarsand Gabrielian, head of the Media Relations Department of the Armenian Police, in an interview with Aurora News.

It is noted that Apoyan was detained in connection with an ongoing criminal case regarding a recent incident of hooliganism. He has since been released and currently holds the status of a witness.
