VIDEO: You Won't Mind, Right? We Have a Bit of a Foolish Prime Minister - Chekijyan to the Prime Minister
As we have already reported, today Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan visited maestro Hovhannes Chekijyan along with his wife, Anna Hakobyan, to celebrate the maestro's 91st birthday.
The maestro noted that at this age he is still able to drive, to which Anna Hakobyan responded that he is also capable of doing shopping. “You shop, we have met in the store personally,” she said. Pashinyan also recalled that encounter, while Chekijyan, somewhat sadly, added, “Yes, that's right, at that time I was also unconcerned.”
Chekijyan mentioned that he has 9 years left until he turns 100, and addressing Prime Minister Pashinyan, he said, “I hope you won't mind, right? We have a bit of a foolish Prime Minister, who used to say that you shouldn't retire until you are 101.” Later, Chekijyan asked if he remembered, to which the Prime Minister initially did not recall. However, when Chekijyan provided more details about the incident, Pashinyan responded, “Yes, that's right, I understood what you were talking about.”
