VIDEO: President of YSU Student Council Detained

Vahagn Varagyan, the director of student affairs at Yerevan State University (YSU), has posted a video on his Facebook page showing police detaining David Apoyan, the president of the YSU Student Council.

In a conversation with Auroranews.am, Zarzand Gabrielian from the police public relations department confirmed that Apoyan was detained in connection with a criminal case. However, the police are not currently providing details on the specific suspicions leading to the detention.

According to information received, the detention relates to a criminal case initiated regarding an altercation that occurred on December 20 in the yard of the YSU Faculty of Law.
