PHOTO: The Height Ranking of Christmas Trees in CIS Countries, Armenia Takes Second Place

The agency 'TurStat' compared the heights of the main Christmas trees in CIS countries and compiled a ranking. At the top of the ranking is the Christmas tree in Ashgabat, the capital of Turkmenistan, which stands at 40 meters tall.

In second place is the main Christmas tree in Yerevan, with a height of 37 meters. Completing the top three is the 36-meter tall Christmas tree in Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan.

It is noteworthy that the lights of Yerevan's Republic Square Christmas tree were turned on December 21.
