Names of the FFAn Executive Committee Members Revealed

In an extraordinary meeting of the Football Federation of Armenia (FFA), the election of the executive committee members is taking place. Among the candidates nominated for membership of the executive committee, two are women: Anna Tadevosyan from the NGO "Leadership of Armenian Girls in Football" and Hasmik Garibyan from the LLC "DFA", both of whom were elected to the executive committee without a vote, in accordance with the FFA regulations.

The names of Arkadi Andreasian, nominated by FC Urartu, and Slavik Sargsyan, nominated by FC Van, were removed from the list of candidates because their nominations were put forward by NGOs that also nominated Armen Melikbekyan, who has already been elected as the FFA president.

In the first round, the following candidates received a passing number of votes (12 or more) for the remaining 14 positions:

• Bagrat Navoyan from the "Alashkert FC" NGO
• Aren Mkrtchyan from the FFA "Technical Center Academy" LLC
• Hratch Yagan from FC "Ararat" LLC
• Hrchik Aghabekyan from the "FA Aragats" NGO
• Gagik Aghbalyan from the "Achajur FC" NGO
• Vahos Galstyan from the "Ararat-Armenia Football Club" LLC
• Kim Arakelyan from the "Gandzasar FC" NGO
• Tigran Hakobyan from the "Erebuni Sports Club" NGO
• Hayk Ghazazyan from the "Pyunik FC" NGO
• Armen Nikoghosyan from the "NIKARM FC" LLC
• Karen Shaboyan from the "Sevan FC" LLC
• Armen Shahgeldyan from the "West Armenia FC" NGO
• Artur Sahakyan from the "Noah FC" NGO

The last, 16th member of the FFA executive committee will be chosen in the second round between Samvel Ghasaboghlyan, nominated by the NGO "Solidarity of Armenian Football Veterans and Young Players" and Albert Sargsyan, nominated by the NGO "FA ANI".

It should be noted that Armen Melikbekyan, the FFA Secretary General, was elected to the position of President of the Football Federation of Armenia.
