Electricity Outages Scheduled in Yerevan and Regions

The Armenian Electric Networks closed joint-stock company informs that on December 23, electricity will be disconnected in Yerevan and surrounding regions for scheduled maintenance and renovation work designed to prevent future accidents.

In Yerevan, the outages will occur from 10:30 AM to 4:30 PM in the following areas: Sayat Nova Street 1/1, 1/2, 1/4, 2 in Avan, Youth Street 7 and Moldovan Street 29/1, 29/2, 29/4, 29/5, 29/6 (hostels), and buildings 4 to 17 on Avetisyan Street 7th loft, along with adjacent public subscribers. There will be another disconnection from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM affecting Avetisyan Street 76, 78, 80, Orbeli Street 47, 51, 63/1, 65, Kiyevyan Street 1, 1Б, 2, 3, 4/2-4/4, 6 buildings and Kiyevyan 1st alley 3, private houses on the second alley, private houses on Gulakyan Street, and multiple buildings and houses on Hambardzumyan Street 12/5, 14, 16А, 97, 111/3 and Barbyus Street 63, 65, 67, along with private residences. Other areas affected include Sevastopol Street 6, 8, 39 and their private houses, PS Sevak Street and various neighboring non-banking public subscribers. Additional affected areas will also include Bagratuniats Avenue 43, May 9 Street 51 buildings, Aragats Street 26 and its private residences, school number 50, and nearby non-residential subscribers.

In the Ararat region, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM, partial disconnections will affect Norakert village; from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM, partial disconnections will occur in Sayat Nova and Getap villages; and from 10:30 AM to 1:00 PM, partial disconnections will affect the streets of Mravyan and Kamo in Artashat. Further, from 10:30 AM to 4:00 PM, partial outages will occur on S. Hakobyan and August 23 streets in Artashat.

In the Vayots Dzor region, from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM, disconnections will affect Yelpin, Chiva, Rind, and partially Areni villages. In Kotayk region, from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM, areas including Khuban, Green Stream, All Lands, and Apricot Plant neighborhoods in Yeghvard, partial disconnections in micro-districts 4, 6, and 8 in Abovyan, buildings on Sevan Street 4/1, 8, 10, 11, 12 will be affected, and several other neighboring villages and areas will experience outages.

In Shirak region, from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM, the southwestern neighborhood of Ashotsk village, part of the Baghravan village in the Ani region, will see outages followed by Goris city areas of Avangard, Hamo Sayatyan, Mashtots, Galstyan streets, and Tanjan Gorge, as well as Artsakh highway. Partial disconnections will occur in Verinshen village from 10:30 AM to 3:30 PM and in Karahunj village from 10:30 AM to 4:30 PM.
